Sculpting a Reclining Figure

This session is aimed at anyone, beginners and experienced alike.  Clay is a wonderfully playful medium – come and enjoy the process as we observe, build, shape and hollow-out for firing. 
We will work from a life model as it's surprising what we see when we look, rather than make up what we think we see! 
Explore capturing realism or playing with abstraction.  At the end, take away your piece to dry and fire or leave it here to be fired (additional small fee).

10:00 - 17:00 each day
 
£195 includes all materials, tools, tuition, life model, delicious home-made lunches, refreshments and gorgeous views of nature.

Venue:  Creative Beings CIC, The Old Rectory Studio, EX14 3PJ
 
Directions & Parking:  Search for 'Creative Beings’ on Google Maps.  Coming from Honiton on the A373, in the middle of Awliscombe, on your right, you'll see the village car park, then the closed pub, then Chinston Close then, 10 metres later, The Old Rectory.  A few cars can park on our drive.  Please use the laybys outside our house or the village car park.
